As an FYI, the head bolts are designed to stretch (elongate) upon torquing via specifications. Therefore, re-torquing serves to only stretch the bolts further, which does nothing to fuse the head and block any tighter.

Because of the stretching properties, you should NEVER re-use the head bolts. You will need a new set if you plan to tackle this job.
