ABC News had a story tonight about Purity Balls. They are like a prom or wedding reception to which a father takes his young daughter (12 yrs old or so). The daughter then pledges to the father that she will not have sex with anyone until she marries. One even pledged never to kiss a boy before marriage.
Did anyone else see the story and get a real creepy feeling when watching it as if there is some really sick underlying psychology involved?
