1987 560 SL - 96,000 miles.
New EHA Valve, new cap/rotor/wires on order

The car hesitates on acceleration but if floored, car runs great - no hesitiation at all.

Doesn't stall - but doesn't have the smooth power the 560 is supposed to have.

Aside from the new EHA and the new cap/rotor/wires that will be installed this weekend - any other ideas?

I wouldn't think it would be an injector or fuel distributor (as they would prevent any good engine performance, wouldn't they?)
