I've had quite a few people locally pull over for my S-Class to pass them. And this usually happens instantly:
I will be approaching them 10 mph faster than they are then traveling at with my yellow fogs on (they are going a bit less than the posted limit). They will lightly tap the brakes and pull over to the right to let me pass. This happens almost immediately upon catching sight of my car. This is actually a surprisingly frequent occurrence. It becomes worse in the summer when I have my tilt/sunroof angled up.
Do they think I'm a cop or some kind of "official"? Its somewhat amusing. I never got this with the W124 or W123.
