People love to knock the 380 engines but they do get decent gas mileage.

Vehicle: 1988 420sel

18-20 mpg highway/ 14-16 mpg city on premium

Not too bad for a tank of a car though I must admit I was expecting the highway mileage to be in the low 20's.

I drive these cars like I have a egg under my gas foot. You could probably easily drop 3 or so miles off if I was a little more aggressive with the gas.
