Just trying to determine a true Euro from a psuedo Euro. I am looking at a Euro version but it has an mph speedometer which seems weird.

If by "Euro" you mean a gray-market US import, the speedo was probably switched by the company that did the importation and conversion to US specs! Most conversion shops back in the hey-day of the gray market (about 1980 to 1985) would change headlights and speedos and call it good. Some added US bumpers as well. Some added side-impact beams inside the doors (or pop-riveted PVC pipe spraypainted gray to look like steel). The only way to identify a "Euro" car for sure is to look for an engine/transmission combo not offered by MBNA at the time (of course all bets are off if someone did a swap later).
