to the world of diesels I think you will be very happy, I have an 87 300D turbo and I love it. Has the same body as your car but different engine (3.0L 6cyl.) Mine will turn 314K this weekend. Stll runs perfect, doesn't use/leak oil, I too am very happy. You have many miles ahead, congratulations.
