Does that work like the commercial instant messenger services? I used Yahoo's IM service for a while and it completely hosed up my computer. I don't know if the problem is in the particular company's service or in the type of program that is required for IM'ing.
I like IM'ing, but not enough to risk the headaches I went through before.
