Thanks for the info guys. I'll see about the seals. My story continues below.
My EHA valve looked like the one attached. My indie shop replaced it with a new, but slightly different looking one. It had the same part number but the pointed tip on the upper left corner of the EHA pictured wasn't the same.
Sure enough it fit but it took a while to start the engine (as the fuel pressure regulator was also replaced as it leaked profusely).
New Symptoms
1. Previously, it always started on the first click. Now, I need several attempts when warm. I haven't tried it cold yet. I'll find out in a few hours.
2. When at a stand still on neutral with the engine warm and the aux fans on, I can feel a slight rev come on and off at regular intervals. I don't see any revs being reflected in the tach but I can feel them.
I'm going back to the indie shop and have them fit the old one in just to see if the old one exhibits hard starting as well (I'm pretty sure it'll return to the 1-click start). If this is the case, I'll have them replace the EHA they sold me.
I'll try to post pics of the new EHA and the old one. Stupid me forgot to do this before the damn thing was installed. The pic attached is something I got off the net. Maybe I should've just gone for the seals first.
I read that the "mixture" should be adjusted with a new EHA. I doubt if the indie shop did. How is this done exactly?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
