Guys, screw macco

I'd like to DIY a good job that will last a while... This car "might" be going to my cousin, and I'm not gonna unload a chitty car on a 16 year old girl who I'm blood related too... Wouldnt be right IMHO


I think NAPA mix's paint in spray cans, but I'm fishing for tips on how to do it...

I think I know the basics. Sand to remove rust, sand/bondo (ONLY IF NEEDED) to smooth, mask it off, prime, paint, then clear... but yeah, any more info?
