THANKS! What a find this forum is. I followed the link on "how to remove the light .." Perfect, picture worth 1000 words. Poped it off. Thinner did not "cut" it , soapy water and steel wool did the trick very nice. Looks brand new but unpainted. I could not find paint yet to match ( 1990 ) but now that I have it off, I can match by eye.
