I believe you will have to buy the new switch from your dealer IF you want to still use the original key. It will come with new keys and the same key will work ALL the locks on the car.

I believe if you buy elsewhere, your ignition key will then be different from the key that opens the doors, etc.

So even if your dealer sucks it's probably worth it this time.

And if you can still get your ignition key to turn to position 1, LEAVE IT THERE.
