Justin, check out the source of the rub as follows:
1) Use a floor jack under the differential to raise both rear tires off the ground. Chock the front tires, as required.
2) Remove the rear wheel with the damaged dust shield.
3) Place the transmission in Neutral ... you'll need to turn the key to Position 1 and press the brake pedal to do that.
4) Have a helper turn the opposite wheel and determine the source of the rub.
5) Reshape the dust shield, as required, to eliminate the rub.
