The prices that these cars are going for are very high. However I'm here looking into the posibility of selling in the futer. this trip cost me ~$1500 for the 4 days plus 3 days vacation time. If I brought a car to sell thats another $1400 shipping. And then if I were actually selling I really should have another person. Then theres tent space detailing ect. So it would cost me roughly $4000 to put a car on the block.

A car in equivolent condition and milage as my black 560SL ,126K miles went for 17.5K there is a 8% sellers fee and a 10% buyers fee.

So essentially I would walk away with $12,000, which in all honesty is not something I can do by any other means and its fast. 4 days and its game over.

Now the guy who buys this car, just paid $19,250 after commisions and he may have to ship it, all for this car that has an NADA dealer retail value of at most $14K and streat value of < $11K.
