You should disconnect both fuel line connections at the brake booster and plug with a golf tee to keep them from dipping. Also loosen the gas cap to relieve the pressure from the lines. To help remove the valve cover, I disconnected the brake booster vacuum line right behind the engine, at the point where the throttle cable is located, and the fuel line from the pressure regulator on top of the intake manifold. This will give you enough room to get the cover off. You do not need to loosen anything on the air conditioner cooler line. If you get everything out of the way it is pretty straight forward.
