I've looked at the motor mounts on my 2000 C280 and it IS awfully crowded down there. I have only 50m so they are still fine, but something to mull over for the future.

I've done the motor mounts on my w124 300CE and they are pretty easy once you've done it. The only hard part is getting to the top bolt on the drivers side, the rest routine.
