It's an easy job but if you do the right side first that VC is much easier to get on and off. You'll see how the oilers are installed and then can move onto the left side with experience under your belt. Yeah, you need to disconnect the fuel lines from the fuel cooler and the vacuum from the booster before that left VC will come off and it's pretty intuitive after that. Good luck. You can tell a lot about the way the engine was maintained by looking in there too...mine with 100K+ miles was clean as a whistle, not a gram of sludge anywhere.
