I believe that the ABS, ASR lights on and Speedo in operative, could be related. In all gears at various road speed it will shut down at 4500RPM, likewise it does the same in P and N.

Reason being. there is a torque converter RPM limiter that is activated when the car is stationary, but over -ridden by the Vehicle Speed Sensor circuit when the cars VSS senses over 8 mph.. ie- not stationary..
Many complaints about rev limit are posted with making that distinction, not knowing in N/P that is NORNAL limit for converter saftey...
