Do you find a lot of kids using "txtspeak" in their written conversations or forum postings? Here, its a huge phenomenon whereby kids text each other on their cell phones (mobile phones). In doing so, and because text messages are limited to a certain amount of characters, a whole new language of abbreviations has sprung up. eg "hey,how u doing 2day.Im gr8 tnx".
A lot of forums here abhor txtspeak and will ban persistent users. Just wondering if its as prevalent in the US?
