Adjusted ALDA - Now car keeps running

Hey, I have been lurking for a while here and reading old posts. I already replaced my fully clogged boost lines to the ALDA on my 1987 300SDL. This gave me quite a bit of performance and probably cut my 0-60 in half...literally. Today I decided to adjust the ALDA because the car is a dog until boost hits and it takes off. Now it pulls really hard but when I went to shut it off it didn't shut off. I got out and used the red stop lever, but don't want to have a ghetto car where I have to keep doing that.

When adjusting the alda my wrench slipped and I heard a crack. I believe it cracked the black piece that is on the engine side of the injection pump and on the radiator side of the ALDA...what does this piece do? Where should I start in order to begin solving this problem?

Thanks for all of the help!
