Guys,
I have 1992 300TE 4-Matic, Xmission 722.342.
Shifts hard (jerks on upshifts). I am guessing vacuum modulator (unit acts as if "floored" all the time.
Question: how to replace? (once I remove the small front driveshaft).
The new part looks like it has a "half moon" shaped groove / protrusion on the back, is it a simple twist & remove operation? Any adjusting needed? (new part comes with a small push rod).
