yes, I concur, however Silverstars are alot whiter, but as with any high performance bulb, life expecancy is greatly reduced..I had a pair of silverstars and they barely lasted me two months. but it varies, if you do alot of driving on bumpy or gravel roads, then the bulbs die faster because of the vibration..but hands down, the OE OSRAM bulbs last the longest and give adequate light.
