I'd tow it from the rear for a number of reasons.
1) The rear of the car, is much lighter, than the front anyways.

2) You'll literally eliminate, ANY risk of damaging anything at all in the driveline.

3) The front end has less hang-over, eliminating the off chance of bottoming out the rear end, and possibly ripping anything of importance off of the back.

There are more, do you need more?
Lotta years of repo, and towing work, in my experience.
