Jim ... You are on the right track. You still did not mention whether you have a manual or not. Section 07.3 of the Supliment Manual for the 102.983 engine contains detailed component locations on page 40-46 and a step by step trouble shooting and testing procedure on pages 47-68. If you need them, I can email them to you a portion at a time.
