If you can get the console window switch for an '84 300SD for $12 bucks buy me one and ship it to me. We're talking about a dual switch with a lock out here that retails for $53.50 or more.
JBA I'll look at the bottom strip again but didn't notice any cracks when I had it apart. Yes, I know parts will go flying if the top is removed, that's why I asked the question Hamish.
