Kevin - I'll be changing th oil this week. I did run it by my local mechanic and right away he believes its an exhaust leak near the manifold which both my son & I concluded as well earlier the week. As I think about it's probabaly more of a air type fluttering sound than a tap so we'll see.

I'll let you know which of these it turns out to be.
