well, if its like the 300e, you need two people, one preferably a strong teenager.

all we had to do was loosen the top bolts from the engine compartment... jack up the car (keep wheels on ground), and then my son pulled the front shock down with both hands while i reached in under the wheel well, took off the old mount and slipped a new one on.

then my son, slowly released the shock as a guided the mount back into the holes (3 i think)

i think it took about 15 minutes a side.

my son is 19 and he really had to use some strength to pull the shock down.
