That would be a very difficult swap. While the two systems look very similar, they are actually very different. The 92 has the two piece system with the amplifiers and receiver in the rear and active bass speakers in the front doors, while the 87 has the 4 speaker system with the amplifiers in the head unit. You would have to transfer all the cabling that runs from the head unit to the amps/receiver in the rear. The speaker wires would also have to be rerouted to the rear, as would the antenna cable. Not sure if there is adequate power back there either, so that also might have to be run. Might as well go with an aftermarket amplified head unit with CD.
