Kinda what I was thinking, just wanting to find out for sure. Thinking of buying a 79 W 116 that has a bad (i think) torque converter in it, who knows, the whole tranny might be shot. Do to the fact that I already have a tranny that I pulled out of a 240D, i thought that might be a cheap, easy fix.
