In my '99 I notice an approximate 10% loss in mpg when burning B99.

Performance is pretty much the same but the turbo seems to be on earlier, and longer, which probably explains the mpg's suffering.

D2 = 31mpg
B99 = 27/28mpg

I go back and forth all the time.
