Got to get that work ethic ingrained early.
Thanks for the helpful suggestion.

It will be 15 yrs old and have 180K on the clock by then. That's a great car for a kid to earn the privilege of driving by proper maintenance and good grades. It worked beautifully with my older two kids who have never had a ticket. My 25 year-old just bought her first car by trading-in the one I had given her years ago and earning a couple grand down-payment and qualifying for a note without a cosigner. She works with autistic children. My #2 is finishing her sophomore year in university and is on the Dean's List and will be working full-time this summer as a certified lifeguard and counsellor at a series of week-long camps for kids variously aged from 5 yrs through high school.

I'm good with my method of raising kids and am looking forward to your report on your method of raising your children and how they earned the right to drive their first cars.
