You need to ask yourself two preliminary questions:
1. How good are you with a wrench?
2. What made you get into a Benz in the first place?
If you answer yes to #1, then a lot of the items that you mention can be DIY.
Why did you get a Benz and particularly this Benz?
If you are a fan of the brand and can appreciate the build quality and technology that went into making these cars, then I suggest that you buy the Repair CD from Benz of America and learn how to fix these "little" things.
If you are not a fan of the brand then maybe you will be happier with another car.
Whatever you do, however, DO NOT take it to the Benz dealer for repairs--unless you have a visa card with a huge credit limit.
Find a good, honest indie in your area and go with it.
