I have a little issue on my hands. I am no stranger to making tumbler replacements or drilling out wheel lock assemblies on these old w123 diesels... however my new car (1979 300CD w123.150) has me a little confused. The ignition has no release pin on the tumbler...I want to replace it as soon as I can with a new one, so as not to have to take the lock assembly out. Does anyone have any clue as to how the tumbler can be removed without too much fuss on one of these older units?
