You have been hosed. There is no SC unless you put one in. The kick from the gas pedal you feel is the transmission kick down. If you still belive you have an SC, post a picture of your engine an we will be glad to edit it with an arrow pointing to the SC as well as possibly identify the brand and aftermarket kit.
