You should find a screw holding the panel in place located in the tray under the armrest. Gently pull back the carpet in the tray from the front and you will find a phillips screw holding the console panel. If you do a search there is much info on how to remove this panel. You have to be careful since the window switches are part of the panel and there is no need to be aggressive.
