I'm looking at getting a 90 or 91 420sel or 560 sel to use my 82 617 motor and tranny in. Is there any problem with going that much newer? I thought I may as well take advantage of the upgrades over the years. I'm looking at importing one from Japan as they are low KM units for a very reasonable price. Generally speaking the motor and tranny will be in great shape and I will be very interested in selling it when I'm done the swap.

I would like advise on the 82-91 differences to be sure it will work
