Remove the "face" of the speedometer -w124

Got the speedomert out to fix - but couldn't get to the gears.

Please suggest how I can get the face off - there are two screws, but - how do I remove the needle?

Here's a reference for great details - but an older model - face wasn't removed.

The gears are just slipping - all seem to be where they should - I just want to "glue" the gears back to the pin.

Thanks for the help.
