No way. One of the funnest (most fun?) cars I've driven was my wife's 1997 Subaru Impreza with a Prodrive suspension kit. Beautifully balanced car, although it did tend to plow when you really pushed it. It was really a blast on dirt roads. Great, great car.

I haven't driven an EVO, but I hear they are a blast to drive.
