Is odometer problem a common thing on our cars? My '84 190E had a broken odometer when I got it. I got a used speedo at a junk yard, and its trip odometer is messed up. I'll be pulling it back out to thoroughly clean the inside of the cluster cover (previous owner was a smoker) I will be lubing the gears when I take it apart,
One good thing is that the junk yard speedo goes to 140 mph! Makes me feel like I have a real sports car... until I step on the gas that brings the 8V 2.3 to life!
