thanks very much for the replies and once again for the offer. i'm however, in NJ so
will keep you posted on how it went once I get the time to go and get this done.
the PSE is operational to the point where the doors do lock, it's only the stupid trunk that wont unlock either with the key remote or the inside button ever since the PSE was soaked with water.
I tried drying it, de-oxidizing it and everything. for now i'll simply lock/unlock the trunk with the key
P.S. is there a way to have a regular key made for the w210 series ? there's this small key blade in the key but I'd rather have the regular key for the frequent opening of the trunk now...
