I see you couldn't resist!

The first little box on the firewall is the fuse set for the AC compressor -- should be a relay there, too, underneath.

The other box, mounted to the inner fender, is the voltage regulator. I have a spare if you need it, replaced mine ($60), turned out to be the alternator. Spare rebuildable alternator, too (doesn't work, needs at least diodes).

Have you got it started?

I am looking at a replacement short block tomorrow or next Friday (depending on when I get to Macon, Ga!) -- if it is cheap enough, replacement time for the 72!
