John: As long as you are OK, that's the main thing. Cars can be replaced. Don't accept the check from your insurance co. Document the value of the car by looking through local newspapers and finding ads for cars similar to yours if you can. Submit these items to your insurance company as proof that the value of your car is actually more than they offered you.
