After a few years of driving a 96 C280 (150k miles) I am thinking of upgrading. I've got a line on an 02 E320 4Matic (40k miles) for a little over $20k.

I've been VERY happy with the reliability and performance of my little C class. I am wondering if this upgrade to an E a good move.

Is this chassis prone to issues or mechanical difficulties? Is there anything specific that I should question or look at in depth when I go to view the car? I've heard some of the newer models are not as good as the older ones and I don't want to give up reliability for size!
