Thanks, I did find the thread on bypassing egr but I think I will choose to run some DP through car and take it on a few freeway runs first. By the way, car has been running on diesel rated Amsoil for quite some time, I wonder if the synthetic would reduce IM buildup in some way? I would like to run this car on WVO like my sd and see that there is a member who has the Elspeth setup on his. Your points about bypassing EGR and CCV are well taken given my WVO preferences. I do hope that my new purchase will prove to be as fun and reliable as my '82 car, time will tell. Do you have any other advice Terry regarding e300 maint. on a '99 car? Thanks!
