Sorry, My 190E is 1997cc (1988 model), when I try to turn the distributor, there isn;t any change in timing at all. Any idea what went wrong ?

BTW, I live in a hot country and would like
to change electromagnet fan switch to
engange the fan at about 84C. Currently
the engine temp is more that 100c when
traffic jam and I am worry that the engine may get overheated. Any comment ?
