No, seriously........  ...........I've had sashimi so fresh many times that the flesh of the sashimi moves when you touch it.
At many good sushi bars in Japan, it's not uncommon at all to eat raw fish that fresh.
I've had fugu a number of times, and it is not one of my favorites. When we go to a Japanese restaurant and tell the sushi chef "omakase", he will serve us fish at his preference, and that is when I'll eat fugu (if they have it).
