I cut lawns first, made good money doing that. Then I got a job at a marina, which was like my "in". I cleaned boats on the side, crewed, taught sailing, etc, etc. During summer break if I wasn't making $500 a week I was pissed. The jobs paid ok, about $10-$15 an hour, but I was having a lot of fun so that counted for something.


Anyway you can make good money at restaurants, but the hours suck.


You guys have cars, you should make it your goal to drive around and apply to like five places a day. Do that for two weeks and I bet your phone starts to ring.
