What you don't see at the finish on the boardwalk in Atlantic City is the logistics involved with simply feeding and transporting everyone and fueling the support vehicles (there were three 15psgr vans and a private coach involved). And, the four riders each required a unique diet along with their medical support.

It's nothing short of staggering.

For example: despite +12 months of planning they did prior to the RAAM, before they even got out of California they basically had to reinvent their support processes because of a unexpected change in the rider's needs. Seth said that, by the end of the 2nd day nobody except the riders were getting much more than 15-30 minute catnaps...they were running on pure adrenline for a week.
