thanks! Are these the steps you mean?

1) Start the engine and just put it into PARK? Will the fluid flow? How about the new fluid how do you put it in?

2) Do I simultaneously drain and pour new fluid in? I've seen some shops have a machine that they use to flush out and pour in new fluid. I can't seem to picture doing this DIY.

If I just run the car idling without putting it into gear and let the old fluid run out - won't there be a risk of damaging the Tranny as the engine is running until the old fluid runs out.
