Are you going to come on here and tell us all that all of this is actually BS and that nothing like what I have posted exists? Get real  I have nothing against Hindus but I do always speak out against atrocities and Hindus have been involved in atrocities for 1000s of years and their treatment of their own women is a testament to it.
BTW, I do have many hindu friends as well as professionals with whom I work. They all gladely discuss this with me and it is thru them that I know all these things about the Indian culture and their mistreatment of all non-Hindus. Most Hindus that I know living in America are ashamed to tell people that they are in fact Hindus and when asked about their religions, will actually call themselves a Christain. |
Majority of Hindus in USA proudly proclaim themselves so, the fact that there are some huge Hindu temples in US, UK ( which has the largest Hindu temple on earth ) and elsewhere speaks of their affinity to the faith.
Now about ills, don't' get me started on Islam and Christianity, there is just not enough space in this forum for that, the fact that the church has encouraged gay priests and even secretly condoned their activities, also prevented women from being priests which speaks of the view of the church on women, the fact that Mary Magdalene is still a taboo topic in Christianity is another prime example of Christianity in action, since the inception of monasteries, many of them have been involved in prostituting the nuns, you still have practices like marrying off young virgin girls to Christ, how ridiculous, lets not even forget the witch burning era or the conquistadors. About Islam, the fact is out in the open every day, in name of religion, kill the non believers, at least in Hinduism, the powerful figures are all females, more so than males. Classifying social ills as a matter of faith is typical act of someone who truly has no idea about the subject in general.
Do you know why some Hindus in US when asked by a Christian about their faith declare themselves to be Christian, its to avoid nonsense like the one you post above, if he or she tells them of their faith, right away a Christian assumes its his/her solemn duty to show the non believer the path of light aka Christ, just to avoid nuisance and stupid moronic questions like the Linga or Ma Kali, they wisely declare them Christians, in company of a person like you, I would do so too, just to avoid a royal PITA.
